Balloon Girl started in December of 2020 when I was looking for something fun to do during the COVID lockdown. So, I decided to make balloon Christmas trees in order to make a little extra money for the holidays. I sold four trees and one of them was to my mom (does that even count? 😂).

But what was important is that a few strangers that had never met me actually ordered balloon trees! I was so excited!

After that, a party planner in the neighborhood heard about my business and asked if I would make her a balloon garland for a baby shower. She said the budget wasn’t very big so she couldn’t pay me a lot, but I didn’t care — I was so happy to have the opportunity to make something pretty!

After that, word got out little by little and I started getting more orders including from the party planner that first hired me.

This has all been thanks to God and the wonderful people He has placed in my path that were willing to give me OPPORTUNITY. They gave me a chance. They believed in me.
